" Good idea", Aaron replied and glared at the girl who was trying to touch him.

" Wait a minute, what are the girls doing here?", Dylan said, looking towards the dance floor.

Aaron looked in the direction in which Dylan was looking.

Ian, Carter, Mark and Axel also turned their heads toward the dance floor.

Avery, Isla, Autumn, and Jenny were dancing in the middle of the dance floor wearing sexy dresses.

Men present in the club were looking at them with lustful eyes.

Aaron got angry seeing the men giving lustful eyes to girls, especially Isla.

" What are they doing here?"Ian asked, seeing Avery, his fiance, dancing like crazy on the dance floor.

"Go before someone steals your girls. Mark and I are going back. All the best, Guys", Axel told them, chuckling.

Axel and Mark left the club, leaving four jealous men behind.

Four of them look at each other before moving toward the dance floor.

They went close to their fiances and started dancing with them, giving dangerous glares to other men who were looking at their girls.

We were about to go when we saw you dancing in the middle of the dance floor, making me jealous", Aaron told her.

" Good!!"Isla replied, smiling.

After some minutes, four couples left the club and went to their houses.

" Please excuse us, we will meet you later", Aaron said, politely.

" Sure", Christopher said, understanding they need to welcome other guests as well.

Avery walked down the aisle with her father, Justin. Justin hands over his daughter to his son-in-law with wet eyes, filled with happiness before kissing her daughter's forehead.

Today his daughter is getting married. Justin was happy as well as sad. He was happy since his daughter was getting a husband like Ian who will treat her like a queen but on the other side, he was sad because his Princess was going away from him and becoming someone else's Queen.

Stella holds Justin's hands with wet eyes, knowing what he is feeling right now, giving him an encouraging smile.

Isla was standing with Aaron, holding his hand. She was happy for her best friend cum sister.

The priest starts the wedding vows,

" I do", Avery replied, crying in happiness.

The priest announced them as husband and wife, making everyone clap.

Violet was standing with her husband, remembering their own wedding.

Andrew pecked her forehead, wrapping his arms around her.

It was time for the bride and groom's wedding dance.

Avery and Ian started to dance on a slow, romantic song.

Soon the other couples joined them. Aaron took Isla to the dance floor, wrapping his arm around her.

Both of them continued dancing, lost in each other's arms.

" I am lucky to have you in my life", Isla said to Aaron, smiling.

" Not more than me", Aaron said, kissing her cheek, making her blush.

She looked at the red laser moving on his chest, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion.

She panicked and understood what the red laser meant.

" Aaron", She shouted, pushing him away.

Everyone turned their head toward Isla, hearing her scream.

Isla felt an intense pain in her shoulder making her groan in pain. She started feeling dizzy due to the intense pain.

" Isla", Aaron shouted, panicking, seeing blood on her clothes.

He ran towards her and held her in his arms before she fell to the floor.

Chapter 29: Truth

Aaron's p.o.v

" Aaron", I heard Isla shouting my name. She pushed me away from her using her hands.

Everyone turned their head towards us, hearing Isla's scream.

I look at her feeling confused, not knowing why she pushed me away.

I noticed a red colour on her dress around her shoulder.

" Isla", I  shouted, panicking, seeing blood on her clothes.

I saw her falling to the floor.

I ran towards her and held her in my arms before she fell to the floor.

The blood was coming through her shoulder. I was shocked to see the wound. Her shoulder was pierced by a bullet.

Everyone came close to us. We hurriedly took Isla to the hospital. Everyone was crying seeing Isla laying in her blood. I was feeling numb seeing Isla covered with blood.

She had pushed me away and taken the bullet which was  for me.

The doctors took her to the operation theatre.

I don't know what to do, or how to handle this pain. I can't let anything happen to Isla, I can't.

I noticed my clothes which were filled with blood, my Isla's blood, making me feel suffocated.

I am waiting for my Isla to come outside the operation theatre, fit and fine.

Everyone is worried for Isla.

I felt Justin's hand on my shoulder. I hugged him and broke down into sobbing. I can't see my Isla like this, I can't. Please come back to me, sweetheart.

It's the second time when I am crying like this.

These days, both the families had come close to each other.

" I can't see her like this. It would have been better if the bullet had hit me", I said, complaining.

" This is what we called love, Aaron. In love, we can't see our partner in pain. She wants to protect you and you want to protect her, at any cost", Travis said, smiling.

But I don't want her to get hurt because of me.

We were waiting for doctors to come outside and tell us about Isla when some guards came there.

I had arranged them for Isla and other family members for  safety purposes due to Rayna's incident but they were unable to protect them, which makes me angry

"Mr Miller", the head of the guards, Jack, said.

" I have hired you to protect my family.

Is this how you are protecting me and my family?"I asked them angrily.

" We are sorry, Sir. We don't know how he was able to break our security", Jack replied.

" Did you find anything?? Who had tried to hurt Aaron??"Justin asked the officer.

" We were unable to capture him but I'm sure he is a professional who knows how to use a gun. Maybe he is a snipper?? ", Jack said, not knowing what to do.

I was shocked to hear this. Snipper??

" What??", Justin asked.

" Could it have been done by Rayna?"Avery asked.

"Maybe it's done by Rayna. But she is in jail so how can she attack us", I thought

" It can't be. We got to know, that she had committed suicide in the jail,two days ago. Police have found her dead body in her cell", Jack informed them.

I was shocked to hear this. She had committed suicide.

" Shit!!"Justin said, not knowing what was happening around us.

" Let's talk about it later," I  told them, worrying about Isla. I am more worried about Isla than anything else.

Everyone agreed with me. Jack went to investigate further while we stood outside the Operation theatre, waiting for doctors to come outside.

After some time, a nurse came outside.

" How is Isla??", I asked her, worriedly.

" The situation is very critical. The patient has lost a lot of blood. We need O-ve blood for the patient. Please arrange it as soon as possible", the nurse said, hurriedly.

" I have the same blood group. Please take mine", Mrs Martinez said, coming forward.

" Come with me, mam", the nurse said and took Mrs Martinez inside.

I am feeling nervous not knowing how Isla is.

Mrs Martinez came outside after some time.

" You okay??"Christopher asked her, making her sit on the chair.

" I am fine", She replied.

" Thank you, Violet,'' Stella said to Violet.

" No need to thank me", Mrs Martinez said, giving her a small smile.

I am grateful to the Martinez family for helping us today.

Finally, the operation finished and the doctor came outside.

" How is she, doctor??"I asked him.

" Operation was successful. She will recover soon. You can meet her after some hours.", Doctor said, giving a small smile.

" Thank you, Doctor", I  said happily, hearing him.

" No need to thank me. You should thank the patient's mother because of her blood, we were able to save the patient", Doctor replied, making everyone shocked.

Her mother??

" Doctor, she is not Isla's mother", Justin told him.

" How is that even possible?? I am sure the blood which we give the patient belongs to her mother. We have done some tests before the blood transfusion", Doctor replied.

Is it true?? Isla's mother??

" Are you sure, Doctor??" Mr Christopher asked him.

" Yes, Mr Martinez", the Doctor replied.

" Is she our Eliana?"Mrs Violet asked, crying happily.

Martinez's family was looking toward Stella and Justin to know the truth.

They want to know whether Isla is Justin's daughter or not.

"  We have not given birth to her. We are her foster parents. Aaron had saved her twelve years ago when she was ten years old. Aaron brought her home and we decided to keep her with us as our daughter", Stella told them everything including how I  met Isla and about the orphanage incident.

I still remember the day when I met Isla for the first time on the road.

" Did Isla have any kind of birthmark?"Mrs Martinez asked her.

Hearing this, I am sure Isla is their daughter.

" She had a heart-shaped birthmark on her neck", Stella said, nodding her head.

Hearing Stella, Mrs Violet starts crying happily and hugs  Mr Andrew.

" We found her, we finally found her. She is our daughter, our princess", we heard her mumbling.

" Yes, we finally found her", Mr Andrew said, caressing her head.

Their eyes were wet knowing their daughter is here, in front of them.

" Your daughter?", Justin asked, not understanding anything.

" Yes, our daughter. Twenty-two years ago, we had given birth to triplets, two boys and a daughter. We lost her when she was three years old due to our enemies. Police declared her dead but we never believed this. We have been trying to find her for the past nineteen years.", Mr Travis told us.

We were shocked knowing the truth. I have no idea that Isla had been kidnapped when she was a child.

In the past, we have thought either they don't want Isla or her parents are dead.

We are happy for the Martinez family and Isla, especially for Isla. Finally, Isla will be able to meet her birth parents and her siblings.

I know how much Isla wants to meet her birth parents.

" I want to see my daughter", Mrs Violet said, crying.

" We will meet her later. She isn't awake yet. She is injured and needs rest, baby", Mr Andrew told her.

She nodded her head, understanding the situation.

She slowly went towards Stella and hold her hands

" Thank you for protecting and loving my daughter as your own. Without you, I don't know how she would have survived in this cruel world", Mrs Violet said, crying.

" She is my daughter as well. I will always love and protect her. You know, she always wants to meet her real family at least one time. We even tried to find her family but we never succeeded. When she gets to know the truth, she will be very happy to meet you all", Stella replied, smiling slightly.

It's true, Stella and Justin had never treated Isla badly. For them, Isla was like Avery, their second daughter. They had loved her unconditionally.

Mrs Violet hugged Stella while crying in happiness.

" Thank you Aaron for saving her and giving her a family. If she had not met you that day, God knows what would have happened", Mr Christopher said to me.

"No need to thank me. I will love and protect her my whole life", I  said, without any hesitation. I want to clear my intentions toward Isla in front of them from the start.

Christopher nodded his head, without saying anything further.

We were waiting for Isla to wake up when

" Sir, someone had sent this envelope for you", one of the hospital staff said to me.

I  opened the envelope and read the letter.

My face hardened reading the letter.

" Who had send this envelope?", Justin asked me

I passed the letter to Justin with a blank face.

Justin starts reading the letter,

" Hello, Aaron,

You want to know who I am and why I am sending a letter to you, right?? I am the one whom you and your security are trying to find. You guessed right, I am the one who had tried to kill you but failed. Your girlfriend took the bullet which was meant for you. This time you survive due to your girlfriend but next time you will not survive.

Because of you, I lost my fiance, my Rayna. I will kill you soon, I will take my revenge. I am going for now but I will come back once I become more powerful than you. I will come to destroy you. Wait for me…..I will come back….. WAIT FOR ME!! "

Justin read the letter loudly, making everyone shocked.

Chapter 30: Daughter

Justin read the letter, making everyone shocked.

" He is trying to hurt Aaron because of Rayna??", Mr Christopher mumbled.

" We need to find him as soon as possible before he becomes more dangerous for our family", Justin said.

" Our main priority is Isla. We need to focus on her for the time being. He is gone and will not try to do anything for some time. Once we bring Isla home from the hospital, we will talk about him", I  announced.

For me, Isla is more important than anything else.

Everyone agreed with me since Isla is more important than finding that mystery man.

Mr Christopher and his brothers help me to increase our house and hospital's security in case someone tries to hurt us again.

Isla's p.o.v

I felt pain in my shoulder making me hiss slightly. I opened my eyes slowly and saw Aaron standing in front of me.

I remembered everything that happened at the party. Someone tried to shoot Aaron and I pushed him away.

" Aaron …..you are fine, right??", I asked him weakly.

" I should be the one asking you this question. Why did you come in front of me?? What if something has happened to you?"Aaron asked me, angrily.

I know he is angry with me for coming in front of him. He can't see me getting hurt like I can't see him hurt.

" And if something had happened to you?? I can't stand aside knowing you are in danger.", I  said, pouting trying to melt his anger.

I know he can't stay angry with me for a long time.

" Don't do such kinds of things again. I can't see you getting injured again and again", Aaron said softly while holding my hand.

" I am fine. Don't worry", I said, softly, trying to reassure him.

I know Aaron can't see me getting hurt, especially for him. But I can't sit calmly knowing, his life is in danger.

" Mom, Dad", I said, seeing them entering the room.

" How are you?"Dad asked me, caressing my hair, and making me smile.

" I am completely fine, Dad. Don't worry about me", I said, giving them a sweet smile.

" We were so scared seeing blood everywhere around you", Mom said, sadly, remembering those moments.

" I will recover soon, Mom", I said, trying to reassure them.

" Forget everything, we have good news for you", Dad said, smiling, making me confused.

" What?" I  asked.

" Please come inside", Aaron said, smiling. I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

After a few seconds, Aunt Violet, Uncle Christopher, Uncle Andrew and Uncle Travis entered the room.

I saw them standing at the door. They were looking nervous.

" Hello", Aunt Violet said, nervous.

" Why are you standing there? Please come inside", I said, politely.

" How are you feeling now??"Uncle Christopher asked me.

" Much better", I  said, giving a small smile.

" Call me Dad like you used to call me when you were a child, princess", Uncle Christopher said, with wet eyes.

I was shocked to hear him. What is he talking about?? Dad??

I took a deep breath, hearing uncle Christopher.

" Dad??"I  asked, not knowing what was happening.

" Yes!! We are your parents, Princess", Aunt Violet said, softly.

" How?? And if it's true then why did you leave me in an orphanage?? Why did you abandon me??"I asked, crying.

Why did they abandon me?! Why??

" We didn't abandon you, Princess. We can't even think about it. We love you a lot. Only, we know how we have survived these years without you. Never ever think about it.", uncle Andrew said, trying to tell the truth.

" Then why??"I asked him.

" Everything happened due to our enemies. It was your and your brother's third birthday. We had arranged a party for you three. Everything was going fine when suddenly one of our enemies kidnapped you. We followed him to rescue you. We were about to save you when he threw you in the river. We tried to find you but failed. Police declared you dead but our family never believed this. We know you are alive and waiting for us. In the past nineteen years, we had done everything to find you, child", uncle Andrew told me, holding my hand.

I was crying hearing the truth.  So my parents didn't abandon me. They love me as much as I love them. They had tried to find me.

I turned my face towards Aaron, wanting to confirm what I had heard was right. I am not having a dream, am I ??

Aaron nodded his head, smiling, knowing what was running in my mind.

I turned my  head toward my parents and said," Mom, Dad"

Aunt Violet I mean Mom cried happily when I called her Mom.

" My daughter, My Eliana", Mom said, kissing my forehead.

" We are also here", Andrew dad said.

" Dad", I said, crying happily.

" Our princess", he said, with wet eyes.

I am happy to meet my parents. Aaron, Stella Mom and Justin dad went outside to give us privacy.

Mom, Dad told me everything about my childhood, my brothers, and my grandparents. I can't believe I have siblings and we were born together. I can't wait to meet my complete family.

After some time, Mom and Dad left the room and sent Aaron inside.

I hugged him tightly and started crying, feeling emotional after meeting my family.

" Don't cry, sweetheart. I know you are feeling emotional meeting your family after a long time but please don't cry. It's not good for your health", Aaron said, caressing my hair.

After some time, I slept feeling tired.

The next day, my brothers and grandparents came to meet me. My grandparents were crying in happiness, meeting me after a long time.

They told me how difficult it was for my parents when they lost me.

I am blessed to have two families who love me more than anything.

Mom asked Stella Mom to bring me home with them once I got discharged, and they agreed knowing, my real family wants to spend some time with me.

Two months later,

It has been two months since I was discharged from the hospital.

I have been living with my real parents for the past two months. Aaron and others come to meet me regularly.

My family had also accepted Aaron as their son-in-law.

They know Aaron is best for me. He loves me a lot and would always protect me from everything.

In these past two months, both the families had tried to find the man who had tried to hurt Aaron and had accidentally hurt me.

They only got to know that his name is Gael and he is an orphan. He was Rayna's boyfriend and wanted to take revenge for Rayna without knowing the whole truth, without knowing she was cheating on him, without knowing she was using him only. She had never loved him.

They had tried to find him but they didn't succeed. He had vanished without leaving a single clue.

Both the families had hired a private investigator to find him. They had also increased the security to make sure this kind of incident never happens again.

Today, I am very happy because I  am joining Aaron's firm once again.

It has been a long time since I have visited the office.

Today is my first day after a long break. The whole family is present at the dining table, having their breakfast.

" We know today you are going to the office and you can't wait to meet your fiance but please stop grinning. You are looking like a lovesick puppy", Nathan said, teasing me, making Xavier chuckle.

My brothers love to tease me but they are the ones who pamper me the most after my fathers of course.

" Dad", I said, pouting, knowing they are only afraid of Dad, no one else.

" Why are you teasing my Princess", Christopher Dad asked, raising his eyebrows.

" I think they need a good beating for irritating our Princess", Travis Dad said, glaring at both the brothers.

I start grinning seeing their faces turning pale in nervousness.

" Dad!! It's not fair. You never call me your prince like you call her Princess", Nathan said pouting, trying to change the topic.

" I agree", Xavier said, supporting his brother.

If outsiders see these two arrogant, cold, dominating CEO brothers pouting in front of their family, they will faint in shock. My  brothers are known as devils in the business world.

" Shut up and stop irritating my princess", Andrew Dad said angrily.

" Mom!! They are bullying your cute sons", both the brothers shouted, knowing only our mother can handle our fathers.

" Stop shouting", Travis Dad said, trying to make them stop.

" What happened??", Mom asked, coming towards them.

" Nothing", the three of them said together, making me laugh loudly.

I can't believe my cold, dominating fathers are afraid of my mother who looks so cute when she is angry.

I am living happily with my parents, siblings and grandparents but that doesn't mean I had forgotten about Avery, Stella Mom and Justin Dad. They will forever remain in my heart. They are my first family who had loved me, protected me for such a long time without wanting anything in return, who had loved me unconditionally. They are my family and no one can change this fact.

I am blessed to have two families and Aaron as my love,my life partner who loves to pamper me.
